Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. 

This is my fifth year teaching at Wheeler Elementary. I graduated from Millard West, and I am a proud Millard alum. I attended UNO and received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and I have an endorsement in English as a second language (ESL). I completed my Master's degree in Improvement of Instruction through the CADRE program. I am currently enrolled in the LETRS where I am diving deeper into best practices for teaching reading, writing, and spelling. 

When I am not at school, I spend most of my time with friends and family. I got married last year to my husband, Anthony. I am a big dog person and I have two labs at home. I love to spend time outside, run, and read new books. I love to find new books to enrich our classroom library.  I am a big sports fan and I watch sports often. My family is originally from northeastern Ohio, so Go Ohio State Buckeyes!

Parents are my greatest resource in educating and supporting your child, so please don't hesitate to reach out so we can help your child reach his/her greatest potential.
