Highlighting the Tea-Lightful Weekend: Meaningful Conversations and New Connections

On August 20th, 2023, a heartwarming event unfolded – the Tea-Lightful Weekend. Hosted by Minh Nhật, founder of Tomorrow.care, and Miss Kobayashi from The Ethnic Tea Salon, this event brought together young adults aged 25 to 35 for a Sunday SereniTea to remember.

Set within the inviting and cozy ambiance of MPKEN's office, participants enjoyed a variety of Vietnamese teas, including Shan Tuyet, green tea, and flavored blends. The purpose of the event was clear – to create a space for genuine conversations and connections.

As the tea flowed, so did the stories. Attendees openly shared their worries, joys, and reflections on life in Japan. Guided by Minh Nhật and Miss Kobayashi, the discussions were both insightful and heartfelt, bridging the gaps between strangers and fostering a sense of community.

With the sun setting, the event achieved its goal, leaving participants with new friendships and cherished memories. The Tea-Lightful Weekend reminded everyone of the power of slowing down and engaging in meaningful exchanges, event we wish to do again recurrently.

This event showcased the magic that happens when tea, conversation, and shared humanity come together. As cups were raised and stories exchanged, the Tea-Lightful Weekend left a floral, grassy but sweet, slightly bitter taste in every participant’s hearts.
