Recently, MPKEN has teamed up with several top global companies to host the job seeking workshops for foreign job seekers in Japan. These events are part of the companies' CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives, featuring participation from the semiconductor manufacturer OnSemi, the global credit rating Moody's, the asset management firm PIMCO, and leading cloud communication company Twilio. The upcoming event, scheduled for June 4th, will see the engagement of employees from FITCH RATINGS JAPAN, a foremost global credit rating agency.

[Tokyo, January 10th] - Thank you to everyone who has been a constant companion and supporter of MPKEN! Let's raise a toast to express gratitude for the past year and welcome in the New Year!

[Tokyo, December 23rd] - We hosted a 'World Café' event on December 23rd as a collaborative event between the student group STAGE and the MPKEN staff. The concept behind 'World Café' revolves around discussing international and environmental issues in a relaxed café-like setting.

[Tokyo, October 04th] - Autumn is coming to town and many students and young moms joined MPKEN for exciting cooking classes, job fairs and infosession. Also, this month we introduced the 101st sempai, NGUYEN QUANG PHUONG. His story is inspiring, specially to those who are reluctant to take chances in life. Read more in our newsletter this month.

On September 30th, MPKEN organized an online seminar with the theme "Vietnamese Mothers Seeking Employment in Japan" for Vietnamese mothers living in Japan on family visas (dependent visas).

[Tokyo, September 24th] - The 34th "ONEDAY" Cooking Class was held last weekend in Akihabara ! This time, the theme of the class was Vietnamese's renowned dishes : "Phở Cuốn" and "Sữa Chua Mít".

[Tokyo, August 2023] - MPKEN's 'Tea-Lightful Weekend' event brought smiles and warmth as participants aged 25 to 35 savored Vietnamese tea and engaged in heartwarming conversations. This summer, we also partnered with Twilio for an uplifting job hunting session, and we recently celebrated our 100th 'ASEAN SEMPAI' edition featuring the inspiring Ms. Be Minh Nhat. We then wrapped up summer with a joyous BBQ and sea adventure with our staff !

[Tokyo, August 20th 2023] - On August 20th, 2023, a heartwarming event unfolded – the Tea-Lightful Weekend. Hosted by Minh Nhật, founder of Tomorrow.care, and Miss Kobayashi from The Ethnic Tea Salon, this event brought together young adults aged 25 to 35 for a Sunday SereniTea to remember.

[Tokyo, August 20th 2023] - During this Tea-Lightful Weekend, Minh Nhật (founder of the Tomorrow.care project) and Miss Kobayashi, the owner of The Ethnic Tea Salon, will be receiving you at MPKEN’s office to have a meaningful time to talk, exchange and make significant memories! 

During this tea session, Ethnic Tea Salon will introduce some exquisite Vietnamese teas, such as ancient Shan Tuyet tea, green tea or flavored tea.

[Tokyo, July 2023] - Summer Vibes at MPKEN: Exciting Events Unveiled ! This month, MPKEN did it all ! From helping international students during job fairs, creating special and amusing cooking events, or even signing international accords promoting cooperation between Japan and Indonesia, July 2023 was indeed a busy month !



[Tokyo, July 20th] - Non-Profit Organization MPKEN and PIMCO Japan joined forces to host an impactful online jobseeking workshop on July 20th, 2023. The event was organized as part of PIMCO's 2023 Global Month of Volunteering, wherein dedicated employees from PIMCO Japan volunteered their time and expertise to mentor foreign jobseekers in navigating employment opportunities in Japan.

[Tokyo, July 19th] - Non-Profit Organization MPKEN, Alpha Japanese Language Institute, Technobridge NKE Co., Ltd, and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Join Forces to Cultivate Valuable Kakehashis between Japan and Indonesia.

Tokyo, [June 14, 2023] - MPKEN, a nonprofit organization based in Tokyo, collaborated with Moody's to host an insightful workshop aimed at assisting foreign job seekers in their pursuit of employment within Japan. The workshop, held on June 13, 2023, was part of Moody’s TeamUp®, the company’s annual, global volunteering campaign.

In an effort to support international students and foreign nationals living in Japan and to enhance their job search experiences, MPKEN, in collaboration with a major American Investment Management Firm, is delighted to announce an upcoming networking session, interview training, and resume review event.

The charm of the culinary exchange meeting lies in the pleasure of enjoying food, conversing and deepening friendships through collaborative work. This session’s cooking class features a traditional Japanese dish called Character Bento (キャラ弁, kya-ra-ben), which is a delicious and hearty meal, guaranteed to warm your soul.

To assist international students studying in Japan to gain more information and better experiences in their job search in Japan, MPKEN and a global financial service company will hold an exchange and interview training session for students and company employees on June 13 in Tokyo.

This activity is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
