UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

OVERVIEW and objectives of university admissionS support activities

In recent years, the number of foreign students wishing to attend Japanese universities has increased, and as of May 2020, there were more than 70,000 foreign students enrolled in universities. To support ASEAN students and international students who wish to study advanced specialized fields at Japanese universities and wish to find work in Japan or wish to transfer their skills to their home countries, MPKEN started “University Support Activities (MPKEN JuKu)” in 2017.

In MPKEN JuKu, we provide information about Japanese universities, faculties and departments, and useful information for applicants, such as how to take exams (EJU class) and various activities such as application preparation and interviews.

As of March 2021, around 50 students from Vietnam have graduated from EJU classes and are enrolled in various public and private universities in Japan.

WHAT IS eju (日本留学試験) ?

EJU(Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students)is a test that measures Japanese language proficiency and basic academic abilities of foreign students wishing to enter Japanese universities.

The EJU is a common test conducted in Japan and overseas, twice a year in June and November.

Subjects tested in the test include Japanese (reading, listening, listening and reading), general subjects, maths 1 and 2, physics, chemistry, and biology.

Depending on the university you wish to apply to, EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) results are used when taking the exam from the university you are applying for. Therefore, EJU is important.

EJU PREPARATORY CLASS

Since 2017, we have been offering EJU (Japanese University Entrance Examination Preparation for International Students) classes for international students who wish to go to university.

An international student from Vietnam who is enrolled in a university becomes a lecturer, and he not only knows how to take entrance exams, but also gives advice and counseling about university as a senior.

Starting in 2020, classes have been held online.
