MPKEN and PIMCO Japan Volunteered to Empower Foreign Jobseekers with Online Workshop
TOKYO - Non-Profit Organization MPKEN and PIMCO Japan joined forces to host an impactful online jobseeking workshop on July 20th, 2023. The event was organized as part of PIMCO's 2023 Global Month of Volunteering, wherein dedicated employees from PIMCO Japan volunteered their time and expertise to mentor foreign jobseekers in navigating employment opportunities in Japan
The virtual workshop attracted an enthusiastic group of international jobseekers eager to gain insights and practical skills to excel in the competitive Japanese job market. Through the group mentoring sessions, the participants received valuable guidance from PIMCO Japan professionals.
The workshop focused on essential aspects of the job search process, such as resume building, interview preparation, industry research and effective networking strategies. Participants had the opportunity to engage with mentors, ask questions, and gain practical insights from professionals who have a deep understanding of the Japanese business landscape.
