Abstract
This study attempted to develop and evaluate a Competency Based Learning Material (CBLM) in Visual Technology for first-year Drafting Technology students at the Marikina Polytechnic College during the Second Semester of S.Y. 2022-2023. This study utilized the Descriptive type of research in order to achieve its main objective to evaluate the developed CBLM in Visual Technology. The developed competency-based learning material in Visual Technology was evaluated by 15 Drafting Technology experts and 15 Drafting Technology instructors. Based on the evaluation of the respondents, the developed CBLM in Visual Technology would really serve its purpose as a self-faced learning material that could be utilized whenever face-to-face classes are not available. However, the most prominent suggestion given by the respondents was the author should use samples artworks which are drawn personally by him.
