ABSTRACT
This study investigates the impact of the Messenger App on organizational communication among public school teachers in Pasig City, particularly how the frequency and duration of app usage affect communication efficiency, effectiveness, and clarity. It also explores the relationship between teachers' satisfaction with the app and their perceptions of organizational communication and collaboration, considering factors such as demographics, technological proficiency, and access to alternative communication tools. An online survey of 85 public school teachers, mostly female and aged 30-39, with intermediate technological proficiency, revealed that 89.41% used the Messenger App daily. Analysis using weighted mean, frequency and percentage distribution, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficients showed a strong positive correlation between frequent app use and enhanced communication efficiency, effectiveness, and clarity. The app was found to significantly reduce misunderstandings, improve collaboration, and strengthen teamwork, task coordination, and interdepartmental relationships. However, challenges such as connectivity issues, privacy concerns, and information overload were noted. The study highlights the Messenger App's essential role in enhancing organizational communication among teachers in Pasig City. To maximize its benefits, it recommends addressing technical issues, offering training, and providing alternative communication tools to ensure continuity and promote responsible app usage, ultimately contributing to better educational outcomes.
