PUBLICATION ETHICS
In order to promote highest standards of integrity, credibility and accuracy of the published works included in this journal, authors are highly required to adhere to the publication ethical guidelines stated below:
Authors must present their research findings truthfully and accurately. Any intentional misrepresentation or manipulation of data is considered unethical and unacceptable. This may result to rejection of the submitted manuscript.
Authors must submit original work and not plagiarized from other sources. Authors must appropriately cite and reference the works of others where necessary. Misleading or inaccurate citations must be avoided. Submitted manuscripts must have a similarity index of 15% and below.
Authors must not manipulate images or data to misrepresent results. Any adjustments to figures must be clearly indicated and explained. In the case of improper image manipulation or misinterpretation, the submitted manuscript will be rejected.
All individuals who significantly contributed to the research must be listed as co-authors. Proper acknowledgment must be given to others who contributed indirectly to the work.
Authors must adhere to ethical standards set by relevant institutional review boards or ethics committees when conducting research involving human subjects. Authors must also obtain informed consent from participants or their legal guardians for studies involving human subjects. The welfare and privacy of research participants must be protected. Studies involving animals must follow relevant ethical guidelines and obtain appropriate permissions.
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or other conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. Funding sources for the research should also be disclosed.
Authors must maintain accurate and complete records of their research data and make an effort to make their data accessible for verification and replication.
Authors must provide appropriate and accurate citations for the works of others used in their research.
If errors or inaccuracies are discovered after publication, Authors must promptly notify the journal editor-in-chief or Publications Office Director and cooperate to issue corrections or retractions as needed. The publications office of Marikina Polytechnic College reserves the right to pull the manuscript in question out of the official journal issue.
Authors are expected to respect the copyright of other researchers and publishers when using their work in their own publications. The ISTRADOR Research Journal is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Sharing, distribution, and use of the articles in ISTRADOR journal must be in accordance to the policies stated in this attribution.
