On this assessment I got late 7th with a 516, this puts me in the 75th presentile. The domain I score the highest on is Number and Operations and Algebra and Algebraic thinking. By the end of the year I want to be in late 8th to early 9th. I will do this by paying attention in math.
My math iready scores grew, and I made my stretch goal and grew 33. The reason I think I grew was because I have put in a lot of work to my math skills. For this iready I got a 538 which puts me in the 89th percentile.
This quiz was about solving equations, inequalities and inequality word problems. One goal I have for my future self is to pass without test corrections.
This quiz was about function. One goal I have for the future is to get an exceeds. One way that I can do this is by paying extra attention and making sure I plug things into the calculator correct.
Delta Math is a weekly assignment that we have to help us learn math concepts on our own and practice old ones.
On this test I got an exceeds and a 93% because I worked hard during the whole unit to make sure I knew what and how to do everything that we covered during the who unit. My goal for the Math 2 final is to get an excess and 93% or higher. During this math 2 I will do the same thing and make sure I understand everything we do.
I prepared for this final by finishing the delta math. I went back and did all of the problems once over again. On my delta math I got a 100%, this helped me complete this because I was able to review and remember things I had forgotten. Also, to do this I completely finished my practice test. Looking back on the week leading up to the final I was sick so I spent lots of time practicing and remembering how to do everything from the unit. I think that this helped me get the final grade of exceeds.
Considering my goals for next year I will handle the math unit by always doing the practice and taking notes that I can go back and read to help me better understand the context. Also, I will make sure to focus extra hard in class allowing me to hear everything the teacher says. I would tell a student to make sure that you are doing the delta math and even go back and do one problem from each section to help you lock it into your brain. This is what really helped me doing the test, looking through the practice test, you got it! My grade reflects my understanding of the unit because I have worked really hard this whole unit to make sure that I not only can pass the test but do well. I think this amount of effort will really help me in the long run because I know I can put this amount of effort in.
One study habit I would like to keep up is doing all of my delta math and making sure that I actually understand it and know how to do it. One I would like to toss is immediately giving up when I get the problem wrong and then ask for help. I need to look back through my work and find where and what I did wrong. I think that these lessons you are teaching us are very important because it helps me learn how to do things and figure things out on my own. For example I have learned how to do things like finding and correcting my mystic and using what I know to figure out something I don't know.
