What is your definition of confidence?
I think that the definition of confidence is that you can be afraid to do something but you can get over it with confidence.
What is something that you have confidence doing?
One thing that I have confidence doing is math, reading, science, ELA, humanity's and being outside. I feel like I am confident in all of my subjects because I try my hardest and do my best.
How has your confidence developed during your sixth grade year?
1. I feel like my confidence has grown this year by being a strong confident leader. One time I did this this year was during my exhibition, when we were working together on the humanities build and I had to step up and be a leader.
2. I think that I have also grown in confidence with my reading. I think that I have grown in reading because I am a better reader and can understand how to analyse informational text.
What can challenges or failures teach us about confidence?
I think that some failures are teaching us to push through hard times to get to the other side. In 6th grade I think that I have become more of a strong and confident leader because I have branched out to harder books and different types of books. During the 6th grade year I slowly worked my way up to harder and different types of books.
(1:55-2:15) My significant Adult is my aunt Diane Hutt. I chose my Aunt because I look up to her in a lot of ways. She shows all of the habits of heart and mind but there are two that stand out One of them is in how much effort she puts into every thing she does, for example when she is at work she is just in her zone and not thinking about the past or the future just the present. The second one is respect, she shows respect to all even when it is hard. For example she always has a positive was to face thing instead of if something goes wrong being mad she always has a positive way to face things. In her every day life she shows respect by always helping me and others before her self.
