Goal Reflection: I think I did well with my accomplishing my goal but I could have been more polite and have had better timing.
My goal for respect is to encourage others to listen with eyes and ears while teachers are talking or classmates are presenting.
This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Respect….
Not telling them but politely taping them to be quiet or pay attention to the teacher or classmate who is presenting.
I will also contribute to my goal by paying attention to the teachers and classmates to be a role model
Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...
Others will see me doing this when they see me politely taping my classmates to let them know that they need to stop talking or not paying their full attention to the teacher or a classmate.
Also I will be polite to others as I do it.
The difference it will make:
The difference that this will make is that there will be more people that will petition in class.
Also the teachers will not have to keep explaining over and over because people did not listen.
Goal Reflection: I think that I accomplished part of this goal. I accomplished the doing the right thing, not the other part. I think that I did well with this because during advanced math we got in a lot of trouble at the beginning of the year, toward the end of the semester we are getting in less trouble.
My goal for Integrity is to provide polite reminders to others to act professionally and do the right thing.
This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Integrity:
This will help me accomplish my goal for respect because I will politely remind people to act professionally and do the right thing.
It will also help me accomplish my goal for Respect by being polite
as I do this.
Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me:
They will see me saying we should act a little bit more like 6th graders rather than acting like 4th or 5th graders.
They will not see me “be more responsible, you are acting like a little kid.”
The difference it will make is:
The difference is that we will all be more respectful to our teachers and our classmates.
Also we will all be quiet in the hall as we walk to dig. media each day and we will not disturb the classrooms on our way there and back.
Goal Reflection: I think that this is the most challenging goal because it can be really challenging at times to see my failures as challenges as and opportunity for growth. One time that I did do it was when I got an meets on one of our formative assessments and looked over it to find out what I could do next time for the summative assessment.
My goal for effort is to see failures as challenges as an opportunity for growth.
This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Effort:
This will help me with my goal for respect because
I will be happier.
When I am happy I am more respectful.
Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me:
Working harder to refine my work.
Also, getting better grades on thing that I don't usually get those grades on.
The difference it will make is:
People will know that I am doing this when I don't get mad if I get a bad grade.
Instead I will ask if I can do it again.
Goal Reflection: I think that I accomplish my goal because during our science exhibition we did a lot of per feed back and I had to remind myself that this could be helpful and I should at least try it.
My goal for refinement is to accept feedback and use that feedback to improve my work.
This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Refinement:
This will help me accomplish my goal for refinement because I will use feedback from others and this will make my work better.
Also this will help me with my goal for refinement because I will be better at refinement
Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me:
Others will know that I am doing this when my work is improved.
Also the will know that I am doing this when they see their ideas in my work.
What is the definition of Identity?
I think that the definition of Identity is to know who you are not just on the outside but also on the inside.
What are aspects of life that creates someone's Identity?
Some aspects of life that create your identity are things that happen to you, things that you enjoy and things that you don't enjoy.
How do you predict that your Identity may be affected through your experiences in seventh grade?
I think that I will become more mature and responsible. Also I think that I will get better with my time management.
