I think that I did really well with the shading and the highlights. I think that in the future I would try to start of with it not looking like an old grandmas self portrait. I think that the hardest part for me was making it realistic and looking like myself. I think that the hardest part was the shading and the light spots.
I used the anagolus color scheme, the colors that I used were red, orange and yellow-orange. I wanted to create a happy evening. In this art work I was trying to send a happy message and I think that the colors help with this because they are worm colors and send a good message. I think that I did well at blending colors. I think that I would change the trees and the background if I did this in the future.
In this project my favorite part is how well the oil pastel earth turned out. My inspiration for this piece was the fact that with out gravity is the only thing that makes the moon orbit the Earth. If I were to cleats it again I would make the Earths continent lines more curved and looking like there contents. Some of the concepts that I learned while making this was that oil pastels blend better than paint can and oil pastels make very pretty colors when blended. Something that surprised me while creating this was how well the colors blended and looked together. In this piece I created the earth and the moon. I created the earth and the moon to represent gravity.
I think that I did really well at adding a lot of color to the piece because I used a lot of different colors to make different things like highlights and shadows. I think that my favorite part of this art work is how the color make the water look so much more realistic in a way. I don’t think that I have a least favorite part of this piece. My inspiration for this piece was that I those water being on boats and the smell of the sea. If I did this project again I don’t think that I would change any thing. Some of the concepts that I learned while creating this piece was that oil pastels look really good when blended together. Some thing that surprised me about this peace was how well the colors worked together. To create this piece I colored the water then I put the boat on the water then I highlighted the water so that it looked more realistic and more colorful.
My favorite part of this art piece is how well all of the colors go together. I think that something that I would do next time is making the outline of all of the different parts so that they pop out. My inspiration for this project was because I love to sail and wanted to make a photo of our sail boat sailing in big waves. If I were to make this project again I would make the outline of all of the different objects pop more so that the outline really pops. Some of the concepts that I learned by doing this project was that a lot of colors go together if you blend them the right way. Some thing that sunrises me in this project was how well the waves and the sail boat turned out. To create this piece I sketched it out in pencil, then when over the pencil with pen in the places that I wanted it, finally I colored it in with colored pencils.
I chose Scotland because when I looked at Scottish art and it was a bunch of landscapes. Traditional art of Scotland are things like grave stones and paintings of landscapes. This is something that you will see in every day life if you turn it over, it looks like a Scottish land scape. In this project I used oil pastels but usually they were made with paint. They painted landscapes as a loss of a religious patronage. I think that in the future I would use paint in the future instead of oil pastels.
In this project we are assigned different contrys and then we study there art and make a art piece like there art.
My favorite part of this art was how well the water color blended. My least favorite part was how the mountains are all very small and dark. My inspiration for this piece was my dog Scout, this art looks just like him. If I created this again I think I would make all the grass one color ore less of a line for the color change and more of a blend. Some concepts that I learned while creating this was how to blend water colors and make different colors with water colors. Some thing that surprised me while making this was how the dog actually looks like a dog. First I sketched the dog and the mountains, then I panted the grass and the mountains. Finally I panted the dog.
My favorite part of this art work was how well the the basketball hoop and the backboard turned out. My least favorite part is how the basketball was not as round as I had hoped it would turn out. My inspiration for this piece was how it makes me confident when I score the basketball and this project was about things that make you confident. If I did this art work again I would pant the whole thing white first so that I did not have to paint over the black more that once. I would do this again because I had to paint the back board more than once. Some of the concepts that I learned while creating this piece was how well the paint turns out if you take your time. Some thing that surprised me was how well the paint mixed. To create this art I made a final draft then I made the back board. After that I made the rim and the basket ball.
