I think I demonstrated integrity with this paper because of how i acted in alignment with my values. We were allowed to choose any controversial topic to write about so I chose vaccines! I believe I demonstrated integrity with this project because I was able to act on my ideals and write about them in a way that got me an excelling grade and new skills. 

This assignment challenged me to honestly evaluate my own actions, and the actions of others in a unknown place by writing 5 whole paragraphs. During the different entries, I looked back on the day and my own actions, how much I learned, and what I saw my superiors doing. This took integrity to focus both on the good and bad, and not wash it because some of my mistakes were difficult to move past, like I could not for the life of me figure out that the second line of numbers goes into assymetry and not axis. 

For this very difficult but very fun project, we were tasked with studying the architectural art of Gaudi, who is a Spanish architect and designer. I ended up making a very.. triangular corner and not finishing on the due date, so I had to work on it whilst others were making cardboard cars. I believe this required a lot of integrity because it really would have passed as a meets when I ran out of time.. but I wanted to finish. 

I showed effort for the geometry open note test!! (yipee) We, of course, got to have notes, and while writing said notes I put a lot of effort into making sure I wrote down everything that was going to be on the test. I think I took 3 whole pages of notes including in-class notes, and because of this when our notes turned out to be quite useless in the face of the test, I remembered things and got an exceeds!

I believe I demonstrated a lot of effort during the Escape room because my puzzles, and my groups puzzles, were very complex. My puzzles required a lot of moving parts, like a UV light, or a perfectly aligned piece of paper, so for them to work out well enough to get part was really fun to watch! The whole project was a display of effort because of how well me and my group worked together. 

I think I did not display effort while doing a large majority of the portfolio updates because I knew I was going to make different page for my SLC, POL, and TPOL. I do end up finishing the basic requirements, but I could have put more effort into the beautification of those forgotten sections. 

Our rocket is a clear example of refinement because of the sheer amount of *drafts* we had to do. With a minimum 3 launches, and many technical rocket drawings, I think we ended up making at least 6 changes between our first and final rockets! We ended up (unofficially, because it did NOT land on the black top but rather our neighbors yard) getting 3rd place for height because of these changes. 

Delta is very much something I need to refine.. along with my ability to read, apparently. With the delta, I usually end up waiting until Wednesday or I obsess over it and finish it within 30 minutes of being assigned. I must refine my time management skills for repetitive task like this so I am able to finish my homework during highschool. 

I think we both did and didnt show refinement on our boardgame. It was severely lacking in beauty for half the project and we could have worked harder on making the theme cohesive or making better cards, but we also were able to work together and make several drafts before the due date. Overall it was not my worst experience with refinement, but we could have refined the refinement.
