My favorite part of my finished artwork is the astronaut, my exhibition is all about visiting Saturn so I gave him a camera like he is a tourist. My inspiration for this art piece was a picture that I found on the internet of an astronaut looking at a swirling pastel painting. If I could create this project again I would make a more intricate border and make the Saturn bigger.
I think I succeeded on being able to add lots of colors on my art, my favorite part of this artwork was seeing the finished product! I liked pretty much all of it so I don’t have a least favorite part. My inspiration for this project was a cow on the internet, I added some things that were not in the photo and it turned out better than expected, which surprised me. During this project I used some conceptual drawings to create it, and some skills, like color, space, shape, texture and value. Overall, it was really fun to create this project and I would change nothing if I did it again.
I chose a split-complementary scheme because I knew that I would use green and blue and red, but I had to add some orange. I created the mood of outside and comfort with this cute frog floating in the wind. The meaning of this piece was that even if your lost in the wind you can still direct yourself back. I think I did well showing my knowledge on painting and creating the frog. In the future I would make clouds and a city below the frog.
My favorite part of this piece is the cow, it was really fun to combine my love for cows and Disney. One thing I didn’t like about this project is how I messed up some dimensions. My inspiration for this project was a picture on the internet that was a cow. One thing I would change if I could create it again is making the pencil into marker. I want to change this because it would make my piece a lot less grainy. To make this, I used a picture to reference from and pencil, pens, and a tiny bit of water. A concept I used for this project is color. I tried to make each piece pop out of the page my adding shading and even space. Texture for the cow hair, and form for how it all got put together. While making this picture, it surprised me that I was able to shade and make the colors work so well together. Overall, I’m actually pretty happy about how this turned out and I want to do another one!
My favorite part of this artwork was making the ashes jar. My inspiration was found on the internet and created around 100 years ago. If I were to create this again I would make a more colorful background and darker objects. During the creation of this artwork I got surprised that I could draw such things easily even though it took many different drafts
My favorite part of this work is his hair. It was really fun to draw it and stuff. My inspiration is a anime TV show on Hulu called My Hero Academia. If I were to create this again I would draw him with his wings more visible and use more textures. Concepts that I used while making this artwork include color, texture, space and shape. To create this artwork I did a light sketch of the character and then outlined it in a pigment liner. I then used a flair pen to add details to the eyes and the wings before adding color with markers and then pencil shading.
