Our counselors at Mountain Heights Academy have created these groups for you to join, learn new skills, and meet others with the same interests and experiences!

ANXIETY SKILLBUILDING

This group is intended to give students skills to help manage their anxiety.

GIRL TALK

Girl Talk is a fun, inspiring, and confidence-building group for girls in grades 7-9. Led by supportive student leaders, we meet online for discussions twice a month, with in-person activities during the fall and spring.

GRIEF SUPPORT

A school-based support group designed to educate students about normal and complicated grief responses, as well as reinforce and support each individual's grief journey.

INCLUSION GROUP

Inclusion Group is a safe space for all high school students, geared toward the LGBTQ+ community as well as friends and allies. We discuss strengths-based topics and have fun while building friendships, support, and connection.

SOCIAL SURVIVAL SKILLS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS

This group helps teach: how to handle social situations, how to join a group of friends, how to keep friends, how to mend relationships, and effective communication skills.

THE 7-C GROUP FOR RESILIENCE

A group focused on developing the following skills in a fun and positive way: Controlling anger, learning coping skills, caring about others, self-esteem, confidence, and integrity. Middle School only.
