Affirmations
AFFIRMATIONS
Affirmations are different statements that promote positive thinking and will help you to rethink and rewire negative thoughts. When often used, affirmations can help you actually have positive thoughts and make beneficial choices for yourself. Just like we need to repeatedly exercise our body to have strong muscles, we also need to repeatedly use affirmations to have strong mental health!
HOW TO USE AFFIRMATIONS
Step One: Find affirmations that work for you and what you need. If you are struggling with school, look up positive affirmations about school or being a student. If you are struggling with mental health, look up affirmations about mental health. OR you can take a look at our recommended affirmations for Trailblazers HERE. Select as many affirmations as you need; you can never have too many!
Step Two: Put your affirmations where you can see them. Here are some different ways to see and display your affirmations:
Write it on a piece of paper and tape it to your mirror or something you see daily
Draw a picture and do lettering with your affirmation on it
Make a cool background and set it to be your phone or computer wallpaper
Create a vision board with pictures all about your affirmation
Step Three: Repeat your affirmations daily. The more you repeat your affirmations, the more you will start to put them into practice in your life and the way that you talk to yourself.
TIPS ABOUT AFFIRMATIONS

You can change your affirmations whenever you need to. You don't have to be stuck with the same affirmation for forever!
Fake it till you make it. Even if you don't believe it now, keep repeating those affirmations till they become your reality. Keep stretching those mental muscles!
