Hands on Experience

Students in the CHEF pathway are presented with many opportunities to gain hands on experience. Each field trip is chosen to give students insight into the industry and to give them the chance to work with professionals in the field. By their senior year students demonstrate what they have learned to open up their own restaurant at school. The Bistro is their capstone project and can be used by a select group of students to showcase in the district Pathways' Senior Exhibition.

A los estudiantes del CHEF pathway, se les presentan muchas oportunidades para adquirir experiencia práctica. Cada viaje de campo se elige para brindarles a los estudiantes información sobre la industria y para darles la oportunidad de trabajar con profesionales en el campo. En su último año, los estudiantes demuestran lo que han aprendido para abrir su propio restaurante en la escuela. El Bistro es su proyecto culminante y puede ser utilizado por un grupo selecto de estudiantes para exhibirlo en la Exposición para Personas Mayores de Pathways del distrito.
