AIM: To measure an athletes balance
The stork balance test requires the person to stand on one leg for as long as possible. It measures an athletes ability to maintain balance in a static position.
Stop Watch
Athlete stands comfortably with hands on hips.
Lift right leg and place sole of foot against side of left kneecap. Raise left heel and stand on ball of foot.
Hold the position for as long as possible. Stop timing if right heel touches ground or foot moves away from kneecap.
Repeat 3 times per leg
