AIM: To measure the leg power of an athlete
This test uses the known properties of gravity to determine how long it takes a person to respond to the dropping of an object by measuring how far the object can falls before being caught.

To complete the test, stand behind the take-off line with your feet shoulder width apart.
Keeping your feet flat, swing your arms backwards and bend the knees and then jump forward. Land with both feet together and keep moving forward.
Your partner should mark where your heel landed and measure the distance between here and the start line. Keep moving forwards - if you fall back your score will be taken from the closest body part to the start line.
Repeat 3 times and measure your furthest distance
