Trailing blackberries have long vines with little spikes along them.
They have leaves with prickles on the bottom. The berries when they are ripe are navy blue when they're not ripe the can appear green. The flower petals are skinny and sharp in a 5 point star shape.
Food The are berries small and low to the ground they make a kind of cake. They use the leaves for tea.
Medicine the roots and leaves were used for treating diarrhea, cholera, fever ect.
Gathering time They gather the berries in the mid spring Mid summer and also they gather the leaves in the fall.The trailing blackberries are found in mid to low elevation forests in the pacific northwest.

You can grow them in your garden!!!
To grow the place them 3 to 5 apart also the rows will be around 10 feet to 12 feet. They make for amazing plants for you garden.
