女皇道中学致力于培养语言人才，举办了各种开发学生语言潜能的课程和活动，为学生提供多方面展现才能的机会。

To inspire deeper insight and greater interest, our bilingual talents are coached for various enrichment activities such as having their creative writing published in《放飞梦想》through the Author-in-Residence programme. Earlier this year, some of our bilingual students underwent the Student-Docents Training Programme organised by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations. They learned to be student ambassadors who led the guided tour ‘New World, New Life’ for their fellow Secondary 3 peers as part of QSS MTL fortnight week programme. In addition, our students also participated in Nanyang's Inaugural Bilingual Youth Model United Nations as delegates. The conference, themed ‘Transforming the World: Voices of Youth’, has broadened their perspectives on worldwide issues.

To further develop the language skills of our students in their MTL languages, we engaged them in various learning opportunities to stretch their potentials and nurture a sense of rootedness in the languages. In 2018/2019, our students have participated in various competitions:

• National School Bilingual Debate 2021 - One student entered into semifinal round

• 32th National Calligraphy Competition for Secondary 2021 - 4th place and Consolation Prize

• National Mandarin Oratorical Contest for Secondary 2021 - Consolation Prize

• 28th National Youth Calligraphy Exhibition 2021 - Participation in the exhibition by invitation

• MOE Tamil Language Story Writing Competition 2021 - 2 students achieved National level Trophy and Certificate

• Cluster Schools Tamil Language Oratorical Competition 2021 - 3rd and Consolation Prizes

• XIN LEI JIANG” （新蕾奖）7th National Secondary School Chinese Creative Writing Competition 2019
