Chinese Orchestra

Since its beginnings over 30 years ago, Bedok South Secondary Chinese Orchestra (BDSCO) has achieved much in its road to perfection. There is a strong culture within the CCA which cultivates self-discipline in every student.

BDSCO is a CCA that not only cultivates musical talents but also inculcates strong discipline in all our students. We promote customs and values such as diligence and perseverance, and seek to develop an appreciation of the story behind every score that we play.

Being part of BDSCO family requires immense commitment and responsibility from each member of the orchestra. We inspire students to develop their appreciation and passion for music. We believe that our values and culture shape our students’ character. The CCA aims to mold them into confident musicians who are respectful of one another, thereby establishing strong unity within the group.

Students with no musical background get to learn the basics of music and gain opportunities to perform. We look forward to the years ahead, working hard to pursue our passion in music and growing stronger as a team. We welcome you to join us!
