Quick note: Sales tax is applied based on the shipping address, not the billing address. We are based in Texas, so sales tax only applies to orders that ship to locations in Texas.

A: Anyone in Texas who has qualified for a "Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification" (01-339) can be tax exempt. Becoming tax-exempt is simply a matter of sending us your 01-339. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page to apply for Mistcooling tax exemption.

A: Our current back-office program has no way to apply tax exemptions prior to purchase. We have to refund the taxes after a purchase goes through.

A. We cannot process the refund until your purchase and payment are fully processed. Once that is complete, we are then able to issue the refund. It can take up to 5-7 business days for the refund to fully go through. If that amount of time has passed, and you still don't have your refund, please CLICK HERE.
