James & the Giant Peach: 2025 Musical

After several months of intense rehearsal, the cast and crew of our 2025 musical proudly presented James & the Giant Peach. Each year, over a hundred students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade audition to contribute to the school musical. This was a very successful year as we formed an excellent cast and crew that put on a spectacular performance.

Students involved in this production spent countless hours after school multiple times a week, and even on weekends to rehearse songs, dance numbers, blocking sequences, and perfect their acting. Mentors Mr. Ng, Mrs. Jackie, Mrs. Abrams, Mrs. Reilly, & Mr. Danosky guided students through each scene and provided feedback to strengthen our performance. In addition, Stage Managers and Tech Crew helped with the logistics of the production and handled all the moving parts. Emma King, an 8th grade student, designed our playbill this year. As a talented artist and the Creative Director of the show, we had beautifully done programs this year.

Though being part of a musical on top of handling school, music, sports, or any other extracurriculars you might participate in is a big responsibility, the hard work always results in an outstanding outcome. Looking back on all the productions I've been in, I've not regretted auditioning for any of them. Whether you are an experienced actor or never explored the field before, I strongly recommend taking advantage of the many opportunities Millburn provides relating to the performing arts. Who knows, you might even find a new passion!
