December 2023 Spirit Days

As the holidays approach, many students are faced with many tests and assignments before Winter Break. To counter this and increase school spirit, there have been several spirit days organized throughout the month of December!
At the beginning of the month, students wore blue and white to “let it snow.” Many students participated in the spirit days and enjoyed wearing festive colors to school.
On December 4, students were encouraged to dress up as faculty members, and faculty members took the opportunity to dress up as students. Students and teachers alike had a blast dressing up as each other. Students wore collared shirts, khaki pants, and even bald caps to dress up as their favorite teacher. Teachers wore outfits that incorporated pajama pants, hoodies, and sweatpants. The day was filled with excitement and fun.
On December 7, students wore all white to “be the light!” While the sun has been setting earlier, this did not stop students from wearing all white and having fun in their outfits.
Most recently, on December 12, students wore festive hats to signify the last day of the Caring Kids Holiday Drive. Students wore many different types of hats, ranging from Santa Claus hats to baseball caps.
Coming up on the 18th of December, students are encouraged to wear the coziest sleepwear that they can find to be nice and comfortable for the holiday season. Everyone is preparing for their “long winter nap.” As always, the sleepwear should be appropriate for school.
Although we may not like it, we all have an ugly holiday sweater hidden in the back of our closets. On the 21st of December, it is time to dig those sweaters up and wear them to school during this holiday season.
While the end of the year can often be stressful, these spirit days help to raise school spirit. The Peer Leaders hope that everybody has enjoyed the past spirit days and will participate in the upcoming days!
