The FBLA "Impromptu Speaking" event is an individual presentation competition that tests participants’ ability to prepare and deliver a speech on a randomly assigned topic within a short timeframe. Competitors have 10 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to present on a business or FBLA-related topic. No external materials or visuals are allowed. The event assesses public speaking skills, organization, and critical thinking, preparing students for leadership and professional communication roles.
