The MECA High School PTA
Welcome to the MECA High School PTA!
We are a community of parents and educators working together as the MECA family to support our students socially and academically. All parents/guardians of every student at MECA High School is a member of our PTA. Parent involvement is essential to our overall community success and there are a variety of options to participate. No matter if you can only make a monetary contribution or if you can also invest the gift of your time, MECA students benefit 100%.
The MECA High School PTA is a registered 501c3, established to reach our association's objectives via family and community outreach as well as fundraising activities.
Our Objectives
MECA High School's Parent Teacher Association supports the interest of our community by:
1. developing parent leadership and building capacity for greater involvement
2. fostering and encouraging parent participation on all levels
3. developing a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school
4. providing opportunities and training for parents to participate in school governance and decision-making
5. providing support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the students

We will hold elections for all officers for the 2023-2024 school year in May 2023. Voting specifics will be announced in a PTA meeting prior to Spring Break.

Meetings
PTA and the Executive Board meetings are held once a month at 5:30pm. All meetings are virtual until further notice.
