Morgan's Message is a non-profit organization that advocates for mental health in student-athletes. They strive to end the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize conversations and equalize mental treatment. They also encourage peer discussions and want to uplift those who are suffering in silence to get help. As a chapter of Morgan's Message, RM would have meetings discussing mental health and how to cope with the difficulties of being a student-athlete, engage in club activities to promote self-care and wellness; and have dedication games where a sport will have one home game Morgan's Message-themed and information will be shared there.
Students will be able to:
1. help others by spreading awareness for mental health challenges,
2. help themselves with their own challenges and stressors of being student-athletes or students, and
3. grow in their own knowledge in addition to making friends and having a space to relate to one another.
