You may want to schedule the ASVAB for students to take at your school. The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a timed, multi-aptitude test, which is given at more than 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide. Although the ASVAB test was developed to help people determine the trajectory of a potential military career, there is no military obligation to take it, and the results can be used for your own future exploration.
It's up to you if and how frequently you schedule this test. Contact one of your military recruiters to find out who your ASVAB scheduling contact is. If you do schedule tests, you should also request an "interpretation session" following each test, at which another representative will come and go over each student's test results and explain what they mean.
All students who take the ASVAB should submit a permission form. Here is a sample.
How to order ACT fee waivers
Select “Go to Ordering”
Login or create an account
Click “Order Test Materials”
Click “ACT Support Materials”
Select the Testing Year and Program (Currently there is only one option for each), check box by “I agree to Delivery Requirements” and click “Select Schools and Quantities”
Click “+” symbol next to the school for which you’re ordering
Enter quantities for materials you need, select a delivery date, delivery address and delivery contact person then Click “Next”
Click “Enter Billing Information” (there is no cost)
Enter address and contact for billing (even though no bill is sent, this information is required). Click “Checkout”
Click “Review Order”
Check box next to “I agree to Terms and Conditions” (either the one on top or on the bottom of the screen)
See Order Confirmation
You will get an email confirmation once waivers are ready
Download waivers to your computer
