Chess Club

The chess club is mostly as it appears, a club where chess is played. People are able to easily play and instruction is available for those who want it.

Churchill Gardening is a fun, laid-back club that provides students with an interactive experience for all things plant-related. We offer hands-on activities that allow members to fully enjoy gardening, and they can even take home their own plants!

Churchill Pinballers

This will be a social club for those who enjoy pinball. In this club we will compete in tournaments, share strategy, and learn about various aspects of pinball including the history of the game, the physics of playing, the artistic design process, and the business of both pinball machine manufacturing as well as arcades.

Cubing Club

The Churchill Cubing Club focuses on solving twisty puzzles. Newer members will be taught how to solve various puzzles, such as the standard 3x3, 4x4, and more. More experienced members will be able to take on a competitive role by attending official tournaments.

Culinary Arts Club

The main focus of the Culinary Arts Club is to introduce students to cooking and the culinary arts. Club members will engage in a variety of cooking concepts such as preparing sushi, dips, smoothies and cheese boards. The club will participate in philanthropic activities. For example, fundraising for organizations striving to help food insecure individuals and participating in food drives. Additionally, this club aims to teach its members about potential culinary career paths and future opportunities. There will be guest speakers in the culinary field, but our main focus is just to have fun with food!

Magic: The Gathering Club

Magic: the Gathering (MTG) is a trading card game of strategy and resource management, that also happens to be a load of fun. The MTG club aims to be a safe place for both new and old players offering the ability to learn and improve the game, and giving opportunities and information on tournaments outside of school. (similar to a chess club in this regard). This club would look to "The Gathering" as part of the magic and hope to create a community of people who want to share their love for one of the most successful Trading Card Games in history

Dear reader, we know all too well that there's a huge Swiftie community at Churchill, so we decided to start this club to bring together Taylor Swift fans and all those who like sweet treats! Reptile Room

The Reptile Room is a club based solely on reptiles (and sometimes amphibians) where we talk and learn all about the overlooked world of these fantastic creatures. We discuss reptile adaptations - how they move and eat - as well as behaviors, facts, general information, or whatever club members would like to know more about. The goal will always be to learn about reptiles or amphibians and have a great time while doing so!
