Employees are eligible for pet insurance if they
Are currently expected to work 30 hours per week or more
Eligible pets
Dogs age 8 weeks through 10 years are eligible to enroll. Coverage does not expire at age 10
Cats age 8 weeks through 10 years are eligible to enroll. Coverage does not expire at age 10
To enroll, please complete process on their website: Independence American Insurance Company
Log in with District Email. Choose forgot password to be emailed a link and create a password.
If your district email is not recognized, please contact a benefits specialist (benefitsmailbox@mcpasd.k12.wi.us). Your email may need to be registered.
Pet insurance is offered:
Annually during open enrollment
Within 30 days of hire, if hired into a benefit eligible position
Within 30 days of a gaining a new pet
