Sustainable Development Goal: Life Below Water

Year 5 have had an excellent start to the year and have been working very hard. The children have been learning about life under the water and why our seas and oceans are important. They have demonstrated amazing research skills inquiring into the different aspects of human impact including plastic pollution, overfishing and climate change.

Cedar class created plastic jellyfish to illustrate the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans. They demonstrated brilliant teamwork skills showing using skills in communication, and being balanced and caring learners. The children have worked together to research and present their findings on the human impact on our oceans and have written a letter to argue why we need to take action to save the seas.

Keep up the great work!
