1Willow     Learning Update

Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging. 

This week we have been busy learning about life on land through our sustainable development goal project. We decided to look at the bees and what these tiny marvellous creatures do for us! The children were amazed to find out just how important bees are to our world and to our survival. We immediately got busy by learning how bees pollinate. The children made their own bees and pollinated their own flowers using 'pollen'. The children had great fun doing this. They have done an amazing job settling down into Year 1. We are looking forward to a very rewarding and successful year together! 

Reminder: Please make sure to label all of your child's belongings that will be coming in to school including their water bottles and any part of their PE kit.
