Principal's Message

As we enter the final 3 weeks of term, I am excited for all of the enrichment opportunities our children will be experiencing. From trips to the aquarium and the beach to Y5 violin open assembly to the LAT sports day and that's just next week! This week we have had Hotshotz Tennis Roadshow and will have a second session next week. It is fantastic to take part in so many competitions and have coaching from professionals and I know the children really enjoy it.

Next week on Wednesday 5th July, children will be meeting their new class teachers for September 2023. Class information and transition booklets will be shared with parents afterwards. This is a great opportunity to visit the new classroom and to get to know the teacher, for some this will be an anxious time, but that's what these transition afternoons are to help with.

We are really excited for the Summer Fair on Wednesday 12th July. Thank you so much for your donations, as without it, we wouldn't be able to run such successful events. More details to follow next week, but please do invite all the family and friends, there will be food, prizes and games and it is set to be another memorable Marden event.

Emily and Esme performed at the Staplehurst school summer fete last weekend with their dance school. They did so well and we're very proud of them!

Congratulations to Jesse who passed his martial arts exam last weekend and has now moved up to a green belt. He worked hard to get this belt and remembered all of his moves and lines. Well done Jesse
