Year 6 Exhibition

The children are exploring their chosen lines of inquiry for their upcoming Year 6 exhibition and experimenting with creative ideas in which to present their work.  Each group has chosen their own lines of inquiry based on a central idea which was given to all.  The work that the children have produced so far is knowledgeable and includes some very mature concepts.  They have shown enthusiasm and passion in their research which we are sure will carry on when they decide upon their action as a consequence to their inquiry. 

Maths

In maths we have been planning a holiday by thinking about: climate, accommodation and flight prices, currency and conversion as well as distance.  The children have enjoyed selecting a dream destination but, more importantly, deciding how to budget for enough food and a trip to the water park!
