Oak        Learning Update

Central idea: Shelters, for humans and animals, is a basic need.

We've had an exceptional few weeks! It started with us adopting a jaguar via the WWF website after voting for which animal we would like to save. It was fairly close. Seven children wanted to adopt an orangutan and 15 wanted to adopt a jaguar. This made Hudson so happy as it is his favourite animal. We moved quickly into naming our new team member. We named it SPOTTY. The class have shared the jaguar over the last few weeks, making imaginary food and making shelters for it. Team Oak really are a caring group of children.

We have used our phonic skills to write facts about jaguars and develop our knowledge of the rainforest. We look forward to sharing our facts with parents at the rainforest pizza restaurant.

I would like to thank all Mummys and family members that came in for the Mother's Day activities. The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing the morning with you.
