What a busy week we have had!  Our week began with our Mother's Day activities on Monday when we welcomed everyone in to join us for a wonderful hour of crafts.  Our inquiry learning took us on a historical tour of London on Tuesday, where we not only enjoyed a very exciting train journey and walk along the river (yes - we saw HMS Belfast) but also visited the Monument and Great Fire of London memorial at Pudding Lane (more fun singing 'London's Burning').  The Tower of London was magical - we were all mesmerised by the guards and the Beefeaters.  The grounds are steeped in history; seeing real Tudor houses and meeting the costumed characters to bring the story of the Great Fire was simply brillliant.  The children's behaviour was exemplary and we were all extremely proud of them for managing such a big day!
