Central idea: The legacies of ancient civilisations may influence modern Britain

We had a lovely start to the week with our Mums and special lady guests coming in to celebrate Mother's Day, we hope you loved your keyrings. 

We have continued our work on fractions this week and learnt about the water cycle in science.  Inquiry has seen us looking into Roman roads, Greek democracy, Julia Caesar (Big J) and the origins of the Olympics. We are beginning to pose the question - who gave us more, the Romans or the Greeks?
