We have continued our inquiry on the Shang Dynasty and have been looking at its impact on present day China, in particular the development of Chinese writing and the story of the Chinese zodiac animals. 

We have been preparing for our trip to the British Museum next week by investigating bronze and jade from the Shang Dynasty, as well as by researching and making our own oracle bone models.

In PE, we have been improving our netball skills and perfecting our shoulder and chest passes. 

We enjoyed spending time making origami flowers, birds and lotus flowers with our mums this week in our classroom for Mother's Day and have been to the church for a special service.
