Juniper Learning Update

Central idea: Our likes and dislikes make us who we are.

Our first term is complete and what a wonderful one it has been! Spending time getting to know the children, their interests and talents. Hearing all about their families interests and occupations has helped the children make suggestions as to what they want to be when they grow up. Ozzy said he wants to be "a doctor to help people", Albie and Freya want to be a police officer and Chloe wants to be a vet. It is lovely hearing all of the things the children aspire to do in their life!

The children had been exploring repeated patterns with items found around the classroom and in the natural environment. Thank you for the pictures and videos that were posted on google classroom - it was great to look at these with the rest of the class while discussing the repeated pattern their friends made. We have begun to move on to representing and comparing numbers.

Team Juniper have worked so hard cutting and sticking images and their work into their learning journey books over this term. We can't wait to share the learning journeys with you, so that you can see what they get up to in their school day and the progress they have made.

Enjoy your time with your wonderful children who have worked so hard, I am so very proud of each and every one of them. I look forward to seeing them back on Monday 7th November.
