2Sequoia Learning Update

Central idea: Exploring identity can develop a sense of belonging.

The children have all chosen a Korean name from a name jar this week. We have created our own name stamp using card and string. We also used polystyrene tiles and drew the Korean name onto it. The children then painted and stamped their name using lino paint and print rollers.

During our maths learning, our number bonds to 10 have been revised and we have used them to find related facts. Please keep recalling these at home. If your child is secure then recall the number bonds to 100 (in tens)

In science, we have been using our working scientifically skills in order to know the importance for humans to eat the right amounts of different types of food. Please do continue these conversations at home about the importance of a balanced diet.
