Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging.

The final week of term has been a very busy one, with our 'family afternoon' proving a great success! The children made thank you cards as a token of appreciation for their family members, as well as creating their very own snakes and ladders game to play. Biscuits were also decorated and it's safe to say they were a real treat...

Spruce have also written their own stories this week, based on our class text 'Beegu'. The children named and described their own characters and settings whilst coming up with their very own endings - well done team Spruce!

In maths we have continued to look at addition, focusing on the use of the plus and equals symbols, as well as using a number line in order to help us solve mathematical problems.
