1Spruce Learning Update

Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging.

It has been another busy, jam-packed week of learning in Spruce class. The children have been discussing what they can do to develop relationships with others, and they even thought of a great idea to help Beegu (the main character in our key text) feel welcome here on Earth. After designing them last week and thinking about how they were going to join materials together, the children very enthusiastically made their homes this week and they were fantastic.

The next task was to then evaluate their homes using adjectives, writing some fantastic sentences in their books. One child said that their house was strong and stable, which is always fundamental in the construction business!

In maths we have been continuing our learning around addition facts, focusing on number bonds to 10 and relating our knowledge to help us solve reasoning questions.

Reminder: Children should only be bringing water to school as a drink, not juice. Please can you ensure that bottles are only filled with water.
