Central idea: Identity and thinking can be influenced through the media

Our Learning This Week

This week, we have been learning and applying written methods of long multiplication, multiplying by a two and three-digit number. We have also explored division, recalling written methods of short division.

Through inquiry, we have written in role as Cam, sharing his story in the form of a newspaper column in an attempt to consider how we can influence the thinking of others through the media.

In geography, we have looked at map scales and learned about the Arctic and Antarctic Circles whilst in science, we have been learning about the major organs of the human body, understanding their location and function, as well as the journey of the blood through the heart.
