In maths this week the children explored our new topic of addition and subtraction, starting with adding and subtracting 1s, 10s and 100s. The children have enjoyed a range of practical lessons and have shown a great prior understanding. The children have been enthusiastic during guided reading lessons and are loving our key text. This week they have really delved into the characters, in relation to our inquiry.

The children have also enjoyed continuing to learn to play the recorder and have developed their observational drawing skills.
