5Aspen Learning Update


Central idea: People with different beliefs may struggle for rights and freedoms.

This week, we have continued focusing on refugees and how their rights have been infringed. In doing so, we have really considered the rollercoaster of emotions which refugees must go through on their journey. Applying our artistic skills, we considered the different tones and contrast of colour which could reflect the emotions and created a piece of art showing these. We then focused on explaining our choices of colour, reflecting on the circumstances refugees find themselves in.

Meanwhile, in our maths, we have been rounding to different powers of 10 and seeing how we can apply our knowledge of this to varying contexts.
