Central idea: Maintaining peace and resolving conflict can help humans to live harmoniously.

This week we have been looking at angles, working out missing angles on a straight line by subtracting from 180 degrees. We then applied this to angles around a point, subtracting away from 360 degrees. We then applied our knowledge of triangles and squares to find missing angles within these.

In inquiry, we have been looking at the UN, considering the make up and workings of this and looking at the work of the Security Council. We wrote persuasive letters to a new country, persuading them why they should join the UN.

We have also been lucky enough to watch a production of Matilda at Mascalls.
