4WB Learning Update

Central idea: Children encounter a range of risk, challenge and opportunities.

For the third line of inquiry, the children researched the historical influences of Eglantyne Jebb and Thomas Barnardo before writing and recording a thank you speech focusing on their achievements and contributions to society. After this, they created some first person descriptions and poems based on the book 'I Go Quiet'. In maths, they continued to look at direction and coordinates. They also measured the ingredients and followed a recipe to make cupcakes before decorating and eating them!

Please remember, if you have any empty tins at home we are after washed out ones with the labels off for one of our Summer Fayre games. Thank you for those who have already donated.
