3/4D Learning Update

Central idea: Water management can play a role which influences the environment

This week in our PYP unit of inquiry we have been looking at water pollution from both natural and human causes and the impact that this has on the water supply for both us and animals. We have looked at the impact that water pollution, in particular plastic pollution, has on marine life.

In maths we have been continuing our learning of shape. We have explored 2D and 3D shapes describing their many properties and making direct comparisons. We have also looked at triangles and quadrilaterals. Looking at key properties and similarities and differences within each group.

In PE we have taken part in a Year 3 and Year 4 rounders competitions. Playing a total of three games. Development in play and team work was seen from the first game to the last. Well done everyone.
