1/2S Learning Update

Central idea: Humans make choices which may affect the Earth's resources.

I am incredibly proud of how the children have inquired and researched deforestation ! We also have read the wonderful 'in the forest' pop up book by anouck boisrobert. which was a stimulus for our own pop up forest books.

In Y2 maths, we have continued focusing on the language of position and direction, applying it to different contexts and problems.

In Y1 maths, we have also explored position and direction using the beebots to help us navigate directions.

Next week, we will be exploring our body parts as part of the statutory RSE curriculum. Your child may come home and want to discuss the correct anatomical names so please engage with them on this.
